Statistics show that in 2012, in the first half of the year, in the face of unfavorable factors such as slowing domestic and foreign market demand, the Chinese textile industry continued to improve its technology application and brand contribution capabilities, and maintained double-digit growth in production and sales. In the first six months of this year, the total industrial output value of China's textile industry enterprises above the designated size increased by 11% year-on-year, and the year-on-year increase in industrial sales output value was about 11%.
At the same time, although the overall operation of China's textile industry is in the development zone, its production, exports, domestic sales, and profit growth have all fallen back rapidly. For example, in the first six months of this year, China's textile and apparel export value increased by only 2.21% year-on-year, a decrease of 23.19 percentage points from the same period last year.
